A blog about a Minnesotan and a Mexican. Life, Laughs, Love and cultural speedbumps. Also, a narrative of our over 7500 mile journey driving from Minnesota all the way to southern Mexico and back... a true test of cultural meshing.

Beaurocracy
I don't know if that's how you spell Beaurocracy or not and I'm not sure the exact meaning of the word but Felipe's experience today seems to sum it up... He waited for over 8 hours just to turn in his medical exam results! EIGHT HOURS! We won't rant about it any more than that because who knows... the gov probably scans blogs and websites for certain keywords and I don't want to tick anyone off before tomorrow or April 17th when he has the most important interview. Needless to say it was a terrible day for both of us - him of waiting and me of worrying - but at least I know not to expect him back to the hotel tomorrow until 5pm. We are planning on leaving Juarez (FINALLY!) at 6:30 or 7am on Wednesday morning. Internet may be spotty over the few days after that but I should have some gorgeous pictures to post this weekend from our Copper Canyon trip!
